Week 10: Touchups and New Background (Jadin)
Touchups
To start this week off I wanted to finish off the backgrounds from the previous weeks. This mostly involved fill in parts that the fill tool failed to fill, using photoshop to blend the colors used in the fog better, and adjusting the lighting for certain scenes.
New Background
With changes being made to the games script with new locations, so the main focus for the is week was creating the flashback background of a sprawling cityscape. The process was similar to the last few backgrounds starting with a rough sketch for its concept. Then I created a more detailed mockup of the background mainly in the architecture for the city. After that I started to put in colors, but using slightly brighter colors to contrast with the previous scenes due to being a flashback.
- Jadin (Total ~ 7.1 hours)
- Finished off the previous backgrounds for fixes and lighting touchups: 1.2 hours.
- Started creating the mockup and base coloring for the flashback background: 5.9 hours.
