Week 13: More Sprites! (Makiyah Harris)


Character Sprites

This week, my main goal was to finish all of the placeholder sprites so that we would have some visuals implemented for our next playtest. I was able to do just that, drawing rough sprites for the townswoman, knight, young boy, and lanky boy. Initially, I had some trouble with the knight’s design, especially his helmet, but eventually I achieved my goal of making him intimidating, even with limited facial expressions. Additionally, I added one more Miren sprite to serve as a midpoint between irritation and anger. 

After I finished up the placeholders, I moved onto final images. Most of Miren’s sprites are now  done. 


Implementation 

I also continued the sprite implementation process I started last week, placing sprites throughout scenes B and C. I also did some quick bug fixes as I played through to check my work.
